An important pillar of JewCCY programing is a social action. JewCCY connects its participants to local, national and worldwide opportunities in a monthly basis. Whether it is hands on volunteering or virtual fundraising, JewCCY participants are given the opportunity to learn, spend time with and advocate for causes close to their hearts.
Social Action Opportunity of the Month:
Join JewCCY in contributing to Touro Synagogues High Holiday food drive. All donations will be going to the Broadmoor Food Pantry. JewCCYites can bring donations to any JewCCY event this month as well as drop off donations in the Touro courtyard Mon-Fri from 9am-5pm.
When collecting or purchasing items to donate think of well rounded meals that can feed a family for a few days. See the list above for some donation examples!
